In the wild, adult Rhydons have few natural predators other than humans. Young Rhyhorns can fall prey to predators such as Persians, Croconaws, Feraligatrs, Arcanines, and Mightyenas. Rhyhorns are strictly herbivores, using their powerful jaws to grind plant food. The thick rock plates that cover their bodies serve as protection from the predators and the safari's extreme climates. Very few Rhyhorns make it through adolescence if their outer rock platelets are cracked. Rhyhorns must be careful of rain as well to avoid erosion. They usually take refuge in caves or under trees.

Shortly after they hatch, and learned to fly Natus are left in the wild to fend for themselves. It is then very common that a 1 to 3 Natus will live on other Pokemon such as Rhyhorns or Donfans. African Butterfrees and Beautiflies tend to lay their eggs on the backs of these Pokemon. These moist eggs can be very harmful to young Rhyhorns, either by eroding their rock platelets or spawning fungus that can potentially weigh them down. Natus help by feeding off of these Caterpie and Wurmple eggs in exchange for protection from the young Rhyhorns.

As i said in the first one, I'm using this series to help me with making backgrounds and environments. :eager: I would appreciate feedback on what i can improve on! Please, and thank you.

And to think people actually throw rocks at those things in the Safari Zone.
