Pokémon: Magickarp, Staryu, Starmie, Corsola, Chinchou
Landscape: Sea Floor
Time of day: N/A
Season Finale of Pokémon Planet!
(I'll come back if requested too, i want to focus on other issues artistic-wise)
Personal Notes: The Magikarp in the front is Confused from Staryu's Supersonic.
Staryus and Starmies are among the most familiar of marine Pokémon and possess a number of widely known traits, such as regeneration. Most species are generalist predators, eating Shellders. Some Staryus and Starmies eating decomposed Pokémon and plant material or organic films attached to substrate. Others may consume Corsola polyps. Others are filter feeders that remain latched on to one spot for basically it's whole life. At the very center of its body is an exterior organ that resembles a red jewel called the core. A Staryu and Starmie's core is very fragile and can be fatal if damaged. When a Staryu or Starmie feels threatened they may use Supersonic as a form of defense, confusing the predator. If agitated enough they may strike back using Rapid Spin.
Magikarps are found in many bodies of water, such as lakes, rivers, and ponds. However, due to its weak swimming ability it usually lives downstream of the water's flow. Magikarp are extremely plentiful, living in almost any region. Rare species of of salt-water Magikarps have been spotted along the Corsola Reef. Diets consisting of small Remoraids, Staryus and other small Krabbies. These Magikarps are more aggressive then the fresh water Magikarps, and the North Pacific Gyarados is a force to be reckoned with.
I'm also using this series to help me with my backgrounds and environments. I would appreciate feedback on what i can improve on.
